Important Information
All charges and payments are in CAD.
For descriptions of Ancillary Fees, please visit the following link: https://registrar.uwo.ca/student_finances/fees_refunds/fee_refund_schedules.html
Students can pay by internet banking, CIBC Student Pay, CONVERA, cheque, or money order.
If we have not received your 1st installment payment in full at the time your enrollment to OSAP is confirmed, OSAP will send Western the outstanding amount due on your statement to pay off your 1st installment. OSAP will then deposit any remaining balance of your 1st installment of OSAP into your bank account.
For additional information on methods of payment and OSAP information, please refer to the Registrar's website at www.registrar.uwo.ca under Student Finances.
Payment must be received by Western by the due date on your Statement of Account (OSAP recipients excepted - refer to above information). Late penalties will be assessed monthly at a rate of 1.5% of the overdue balance. For example, based on an overdue balance of $4,500, the interest charges would be approximately $2.25 per day. The monthly accumulation of these charges will be added to accounts on the last business day of each month. Please ensure your tuition payment reaches our office by the tuition deadline to avoid such penalties.
The total amount of Anticipated Aid currently appearing on your Statement of Account can be deducted from the balance owing for your installment. For example, if you owe $4,000 and have $4,200 in Anticipated Aid reflected on your statement, then no payment is required. If you owe $4,000 and have $2,500 in Anticipated Aid then a payment of $1,500 is required by the due date specified on your Statement of Account. Anticipated Aid reflects Western University funding ONLY and does not include any government loan programs or 3rd party sponsorships. The Western Scholarship of Distinction and Western Admission Scholarship will be reviewed in September and are NOT considered Anticipated Aid.
OSAP recipients: The "what do I owe in addition to OSAP" link is at the top of this statement. The link will provide the information for the 1st installment of OSAP funding. If OSAP Funding to Come covers the total Amount Due, no payment is required. OSAP will send the funds directly to Western in September and the funds will be credited to your account. No late penalty will apply. Any balance that is not covered by OSAP (or bursary funding) must to be in our office by the August due date.
